When my children were small, I took them to a children's farm in the Berkeley hills, near our home. We happened upon a mother goat giving birth to three kids. It was such a wonderful scene to witness and it stayed with me that day and to this day because it really is the miracle of birth, whether it be animal or human. Birth brings the hope of the cycle of life and the recognition that it is fragile and miraculous at the same time. Thanks for the reminder. Have a great weekend.
